DRYSULATION SYSTEM
The Dryvit Drysulation external thermal insulation system consists of self-extinguishing expanded polystyrene EPS (white or graphite) insulation material of special specifications, which is placed with welding material, coated with an anti-crack layer consisting of cementitious material in which the reinforcing mesh is immersed and finished with inorganic, a mineral white coating which is then painted with an acrylic or acrylic-silicone or silicate or siloxane paint, called the Drysulation System, or with a final coloured organic coating, called the Drysulation Plus System.
Organic coatings are available in many textures, in a wide range of colours and are acrylic or acrylic-silicone or siloxane or silicate based. The system includes special pieces and accessories (plugs, EPS plugs, PVC corner caps, PVC water stops, swelling tape…) for the mechanical fixing of the insulating material and the joining of the system to the various elements of the facade (lamps, presses, aprons, end caps).
Impact resistance (ETAG 004, clause 5.1.3.3)

Parameters that give unique advantages
Resistance to dirt collection
The DPR formula & silicone resins – since 1989 – offer self-cleaning coatings.
Resistance to mould – fungi
Biocide protection offers coatings with high resistance to algae, mould & fungi.
Unlimited colours with StratoTone
They do not fade. Pigments add to coatings resistance to fungi, dust & UV radiation.
Corrosion resistance
The best combination of polymers, offers stable coating structure over the years.
Impact & abrasion resistance
The best combination of polymers, offering results above the European requirement.
High elasticity
The best combination of polymers, offers crack-free coatings.
Coatings with hydrophobic HDP technology
Dryvit Systems has developed a revolutionary formulation in its finished coatings, allowing the wall surface to literally repel water, thus drying faster and preventing the build-up of microbes such as mould.
